What do you do for work? What’s your job?
We like to ask these questions when we meet someone for the first time. It’s part of the “get to know you” routine we play.
My article today is a quick glimpse into my working week, and some of the things I do for clients.
As well as providing consulting advice (to both individuals and businesses) a big part of my job is running workshops, where the aim is to help people build/improve their skills at work.
This week it was all about Management & Leadership. I was lucky enough to be in Brisbane and then Melbourne where I facilitated two very interactive workshops, whose bag of goodies included:
👉 Culture
👉 Values
👉 The Deal
👉 Effective 1-on-1s
👉 Coaching (and 4 Simple Questions)
👉 Hard Conversations
My thanks to all those who attended. I appreciated your warmth, willingness to get involved, efforts to think & question “the norm”, your desire to learn, and for bringing plenty of fun and energy to our sessions. Learning with laughter – even during the most serious of topics – is a truly wonderful thing.
For everyone else out there: if you are looking for fresh, innovative and practical training which is genuinely useful for your people, drop me a line and let’s talk. We all want a world with better managers and leaders. Let’s make it happen.
